Better later than never! Come and celebrate Leonard's birthday with a night of his music in The Hotspot by the harbour in Greystones/Ireland on October 28th :)

I have been a Leonard Cohen fan for just over fifty years. When I was sixteen my English teacher introduced the class to Leonard Cohen's music, as we studied Suzanne and Sisters of Mercy. She was way ahead of her time and was later fired by the school board because the music made us think about things too much. Well, that was the explanation that was given to the students.

As the years went by, I started singing his music and really loving it. I have started writing music in the last fifteen years, and have recently recorded a video of my favourite song of his of all time - Joan of Arc. On the belated occasion of his 82nd birthday, I would like to share this recording with you.

I hope you enjoy your listen.

Eighty-two years young - it's hard to believe that so much time has passed since my school days.

Regards,
Leslie
