Cohen song on TV

Just heard Leonard as background music on a tv show and it wasn't Hallelujah! Actually it was "If It Be Your Will" in the background of Revenge.

Yes, Lenny himself! very brief. I was just so happy to hear another Cohen song than Hallelujah (not that I don't love Hallelujah!!!!)

This reminds me that the song "Everybody Knows" features in the closing credits of episode 9 of the US TV series "Homeland" broadcast in the UK on Channel 4 last Sunday. I believe the series was originally broadcast in the US, so this will be old news for many.

On Revenge 'If it be your Will' played almost the whole song in the midst of a love scene between one of the main
characters who was with this lovely sexy man who appeared on the show for the first time and is some hot lover from her past... an artist with a great English accent...perfect song for this scene.
Was delightful and made my day!

I've only just got around to watching Homeland, so it was a nice surprise to come across the quick blast of Everybody Knows. There's so many twists and turns in the series I'm now analysing the lyrics for clues

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but the new Michelle Williams movie is called Take This Waltz...and Leonard sings the title song....

Like you nifty, we just caught the first Homeland season last week, and were pleased to hear Leonard and the opening bars of Everybody Knows. Episode 9 sounds about right.
Found Homeland to be an excellent show - deserving of its many Emmy nominations. Looking forward to Season 2 starting September 30 in USA. Understand they recorded for two weeks in Tel Aviv this Spring.
