So so happy with my tickets to Rod Laver and The Hill :)
Still can't quite believe I get to experience this again, feel so blessed.

A big thank you to all who made this possible.

Well, that’s the first part of my (not so little) Leonard adventure accomplished!
I ended up with 7 concerts booked. All in all, it only took just over an hour to do them. I got a lesser seat in Townsville than I thought I’d asked for. By the time I got to Melbourne the first few rows were taken, so I thought I’d stop there and maybe see what transpires later on. People with good tickets sometimes can’t make it etc. If you were only booking one concert in total, it would have been a breeze, but mind you by the time I got to concert number three, I was into the swing of things.

For anyone interested, this is what I'm attending so far:

Brisbane......... Section S9, Row AB, Seat 23
Townsville........Section 17HX, Row JJ, Seat 09
Cairns.............No section, Row AA, Seat 16
Sydney............Section A, Row 2, Seat 09
Newcastle.........Section Platinum, Row A, Seat 16 (Bimbadgen Winery)
Geelong...........Section P2, Row D, Seat 1 (Hill Winery)
Melbourne.........Section SB, Row F, Seat 28

The most important thing I can say about it all is THANK YOU, JARKKO so much for making it considerably easier for me to attempt this adventure.
I’m so happy.....If I was a bell I’d be ringing :D .....ring the bells!!!

Now, where did I put my parachute......ah better still what I really need is a Babylon candle!!

Ah well, in whatever mode of transport I use, the journey will soon begin!!
Looking forward to finally seeing a lot of you down the road!

Sorry you are not going to make it to Adelaide, but I hope we (and others) can get together in Sydney (Section B, row 4, seat 14) and Melbourne (Section B, D30).
You'll have to let us know how the candle goes!

Thanks so much to Jarkko and everyone who made this possible.
Worked perfectly for me this afternoon, ending up with a front row seat near the middle - A19 - at Christchurch.
Last time here in Nov 2010, I had a seat in the middle of the second row, and needless to say, it was magic. :D :D

Well done!
We'll be old friends by then. I have Section B, Row A, seat 26.
BTW Dean (from Adelaide) is OS at the moment - I hope he has access to buying tickets.
Don't know what we would do if we couldn't read his reports.

See Alan,
Remember I said I’ll wait and see what happens at pre-sale!

And now I’m going to release some tension by getting out my violin.....I think I’ll play Bird On The Wire and Joan Of Arc and Nancy (it has a wonderful melody), and The Traitor and The Window or.....

All that time away from home and I won’t be able to play it, I’ll be having withdrawal symptoms. But I know the perfect cure for that! To listen to Alex’s rapturous renditions at close hand and maybe get some pointers!

I sincerly hope that Dean has managed to book some concerts. It would be great to see him again! His reports are so descriptive!
(I know where he is and I hope he keeps his head down, so to speak!)

you can use any big candle and write Babylon candle on it - if the candle light stays calm then there is no connection
worth trying !!?? :)

GOOD LUCK !!!!! to all of you !!! :D :D :D :D

(Tacoma trailer is a wonderful melody too) :)

Thankfully, I was also successful with my initial purchase of two tickets for Rod Laver. :D I now just have to decide where else to go (like Geelong, Adelaide or even Cairns (my old home town). ;-) If only money was no object, it would surely be Cairns, as I've ascertained the venue is only 5,000 capacity, which would most likely allow for a more intimate concert experience, not to mention that some of my siblings will be in attendance at that concert.

Thanks to Jarkko and all concerned for yet another privileged and fairly easy purchase of tickets through this pre-sale! 8)

To Alan, Bev and Blonde Madonna and anyone else attending Melbourne on Nov 20th, closer to the date/s we must indeed organise a meet-up, as has already been pre-empted by Alan and Bev. I think there could be quite a few folk on board for this, come November.

Cheers,
Andrew :)

Very very happy for you, Bev. :D Your patience has certainly paid off! And though you may very well be insane, you will have one of the best times of your life. :D

Bev I am so happy for you that you got what you wanted! I think that is wonderful.
Thank you Marie, Jarkko, Robert, Leonard and everyone else for these presales...we are so lucky to have the opportunity to get seats ahead of other sales.
