very exciting countdown!
Re mainland discussion: My friends that live in Maui and Kauai in Hawaii call the whole of North America 'the mainland'.
My friends who live in Victoria on Vancouver Island and Saltspring Island also call Vancouver the mainland so it must be an islander term.
I personally hope Socoh is happy this morning when he wakes up for many reasons...
Cheers

Yes, Super J, I am very happy to wake up and see the number 8. :D This gives us a chance to prepare even more and we will call a meeting of the Board of LOTB (S, S, & T). (Hopefully, Tina can take part in the meeting. Her dog is VERY pregnant and any hour now will deliver tongues and tails galore. :D )

To takeoff from Bill Lee on Carl Yastrzemski-- Today's 8 is similar to the symbol for infinity, and while it may sometimes seem that Leonard and UH will tour for infinity, Leonard, like Yaz, will eventually retire and in reality there are only so many shows left. Because tomorrow the number changes.

Yes, we call the rest of the U.S. "the mainland". No, I do not think LC/UH are coming here. I ate that mango in Paris.

Just so, W.

I finally finished the last bit of hope for Hawaii late one night in the 9th arrondissement. You can't carry those around forever, you know.

Hey Bev!

I have some news too. According to my information, LC simply changed the dates: Australia in August, Pula Arena in November-December.
Moreover, he's returning to the ice!!
...Yes, I've just been reported, we have the first photo from the soundcheck.

Hey  nice B & G!

We're here getting ready for our party celebrating Jarkko and Eija being ready to travel to Pula. :D We are having a cake made in the shape of Croatia.

No LOTB meeting took place last night. There was more pressing business to attend to: Tina's dog had twelve puppies yesterday!!! :D

An interesting observation for today:

Leonard will have been to Australia ...5... times when he arrives soon ;-)
1980, 1985, 2009, 2010 and 2013.

(btw..... Alan,
I've just finished painting the portrait! I hope your own painting job is done as well!)

Good post Bev (where's our Jolly Jarkko Joke - JJJ - for today?!) - but shouldn't that be 2010 instead of 2011? I definitely remember my last visit to my sister in Perth was in November 2010!
