trinity college looks like a good choice...price and location perfect....i've already booked myself in at wynn's hotel which is just along the road from liberty hall literally a 5 minute walk away....i've stayed at wynn's before and it's perfect for those who prefer a more traditional type of hotel... the place has been in existence in one form or another since the mid 19th. century and has witnessed many of the events which have shaped the history of dublin..another hotel i've stayed at and can recommend is the harding hotel which is located up along side of christchurch cathedral which about a twenty minute walk from liberty hall.......both airport buses, the aircoach and the 747 green doubledecker bus, stop in o'connell street which is perfect for wynn's and the 747 carries on a couple stops after o'connell street and drops you at christchurch cathedral just across the road from the harding.....

both the aircoach and the 747 stop right outside of trinity college....

both wynn's and the harding can be booked via booking.com without having to pay until you arrive...well that's my ten cents worth...ta ken

wynn's hotel

and the cheaper harding

Ken,

Wynn's Hotel has a very Joycean connection as it has the honour of being mentioned in both Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake. BTW, this year is the 75th anniversary of the publication of Finnegan's Wake, so lots of activities in Dublin around that.
