hope for a concert in Athens

is there any chance for a concert in Athens? we die for this, we can afford it to go to Istanbul or Verona

According to a recent email from AEG, there will unfortunately be no concerts in Greece this year:
AEG about the Athens news: "This date was never confirmed and is not happening".

( Hey all , this is my first post here! Please excuse my poor English )
May i ask when AEG stated that ? I just saw , much to my surpise , a Leonard Cohen concert scheduled on september 21 on the program of ODEON OF HERODES ATTICUS !!!!
Having checked the tour dates here a while ago , this totally was best that anything i could possibly dream of! I run to my laptop and check leonard cohen.com and ... lost all hope .
Though i must add that the dates seem to fit:
19.Sep.2012
Istanbul, Turkey
22.Sep.2012
Bucharest, Romania
He could easily come to greece in the meantime , right? C'mon Leonard
Seriously , is there any hope at all ?
