Yes, well ... not totally unexpected but still very disappointing.

As I'm sure you know brokenhill, there are loads of suitable festival-type sites in the Midlands alone if that's what AEG were looking for. Warwick Castle(occasional concerts) , Catton Hall(Big Session Festival), Weston Park (V) to name a few off the top of my head. But it takes two to put these sort of events together and it sounds from the press releases as if Hop Farm have worked pretty hard to bring the "Day at the Hop Farm" idea to fruition.

Let's hope Leonard comes back to the UK and ventures north of Watford in 2013.

I live in Kent, so for me the Hop Farm (whilst not ideal as I would have preferred an indoor London gig) is still pretty good.

Yes, I think most people in the UK would much prefer an indoor venue, me included. Let's hope that 2013 might bring us the Albert Hall again or a similar size venue.
Meantime, since I live in the south, I'll do my best to get to Kent on the 8th Sept.
That's assuming it's definitely happening.

Much as I swore to never go to an open air event after Wetbridge, as I only live about 30 miles from the Hop Farm, and at it appears to be a spin-off event, I think I'll try and go. Glad we don't have to pay £150 for a weekend ticket tho'! Hate festivals because of the hours sp[ent sitting in a car trying to get in and out!

Let's hope, that a view more European Tour Dates will announced soon....I am waiting for another German Concert or one in Switzerland... but let's be realistic: we do have the chance to see Leonard on Stage again! We will travel to Kopenhagen, Berlin and Verona. Can't wait to see and hear LC once again!

just had a flyer that Leonard is doing 1 concert in the Uk this year. A Day at the Hop Farm, Tonbridge, Saturday Sept 8th. Tkts on sale Friday, 9am. Can anyone confirm this?
