Oakland meet-up?

Hi Scott,

I too think Luka's will work perfectly for the pre-concert. Sort of leaving the timing in the expert hands of Esther but I would think the best time to hook up would be around 430pm. Plenty of time for a drink, dinner, and talk, and then saunter to the Paramount for an early entry for LC fans at 630pm. I am assuming at this point in time that there WILL be a band meet-up. With the intimacy of the Paramount, and the fact that this is one of the final concerts, I am sure there will be an early entry. Awaiting Esther's expert advice!

Diana makes a good point about setting an early get-together time around 4ish.

Sometimes, even without a formal announced early forum fan entry, some of the band members delighted us by coming out to chat with fans near the Merch stand.

IMHO, if there is no formal announcement, the time to arrive at the theatre should coincide with the time the doors are opened and the Merch stand is open.

@Scott. I am also looking forward to meeting you. You have a lot of fans of your own on the forum.

Sounds like Luka's is the place! I will try to get there at 4 and snag a large table in a quiet area. They don't take reservations unless it is a very large group, so we'll just have to try to establish an "area" for ourselves...

25 days!!! I'm beyond excited. I too hope for early entry and band meetups and that Will Call is not too torturous. As I recall, the Paramount had a nifty touch-screen print-it-yourself system for tickets...

Hi Birminghamfan! I'll only be able to make the Dec 5th show, unfortunately. Sorry we won't meet! But I'm sure there will be a meet-up on the 6th too- maybe also at Luka's? Don't know if we need to start separate threads for these 2 dates... what does everyone think? We can just keep one list, and note "Dec 5" or "Dec 6" (or both) next to each person.
