Hi Wendy,

The alternatives are:

Heart With No Companion
That Don't Make It Junk
Passing Through
The Gypsy's Wife
One of Us Cannot Be Wrong (wouldn't that be amazing! :D )
A Thousand Kisses Deep
There is a War
Avalanche
Lullaby

I'll post the sheet once I figure out how to scan it.

Thanks Mary! What is interesting - and quite disappointing in a way - is that there are so many songs on the list that were also alternativs on the setlist way back last autumn in Europe but which have not yet been performed publicly - to my knowledge anyway. Oh to hear One of Us Cannot be Wrong, There is a War, A Thousand Kisses Deep or Passing Through - not too mention Lullaby and Avalanche which have only been performed infrequently.

I don't suppose there will be any more changes now but if anyone is reading this: I would love to hear One of Us Cannot be Wrong or Lullaby in Ottawa!!

and also the Famous blue Raincout and Who by fire

I miss the Partisan and Famous blue Raincoat so much at the DVD :?

Wouldn't that be wonderful! So many people are coming to Ottawa from all over the world, it would be amazing to hear One of Us Cannot Be Wrong for the frst time here. My only problem is, what song would he drop? I love them all! :D

Dance Me to the End of Love
The Future (cartwheels intact)
Ain't No Cure for Love
Bird on the Wire
Everybody Knows
In My Secret Life
Who By Fire (amazing intro by Javier)
Chelsea Hotel
Waiting for the Miracle
Anthem

Tower of Song
Suzanne
Sisters of Mercy
The Partisan
Boogie Street
Hallelujah ("...I didn't come all the way to the 'capital' just to fool you...")
I'm Your Man (Leonard was very "bold" during this one!)
A Thousand Kisses Deep recitation (no crowd reactions--just pure silence throughout the poem! What I'd give for Leonard to incorporate more spoken word in the set!!!!!)
Take this Waltz

So Long Marianne (Leonard really tried for the higher notes on this one; great stuff)
First We Take Manhattan

Famous Blue Raincoat
If it Be Your Will
Closing Time

I Tried to Leave You
Whither Thou Goest

Wow....and I get to experience this again tomorrow night!!!!!

So sad to see that 'The Partisan' , with Javier's beautiful intro, is out again.

I'm still on a "high" after attending last night's concert at the Wang Center and probably will be for days. The set list as reported agrees with the notes I took--everything was wonderful, spiritual, emotional, sexy, serious, funny. All the qualities that make us love Leonard and his music. I would have liked to have heard
The Gypsy's Wife (as I did in Montreal last June), but happily traded it off for Chelsea Hotel, Famous Blue Raincoat and Waiting for the Miracle. Even after 3+ hours, I didn't want to leave the theater!

Maarten: the logo on the stagelist that Marcus posted above is much better that the one you currently have on the PDF, maybe you could replace it... :)
