Hallelujah Video Walk and Singalong

Post by rae »

This event was just posted on Facebook; you can find it there, but I've also copied the info here. The people organizing it are the ones who organized last year's vigil. It's just an hour long, so easy to get home in time to listen to the broadcast of tonight's concert, for those of us who couldn't go.

Details
Tuesday November 7, 2017 @ 18h
Boul St-Laurent / Plateau Mont-Royal
Starting point @ Viaduc Van Horne at St-Laurent
End Point @ Parc du Portugal (corner of Marie-Anne)

A nomadic film screening event in the form of a walking procession honouring Leonard Cohen. The event will take place on the first anniversary of Cohen’s death providing an occasion for the community to celebrate Cohen’s life and poetry. The procession will carry handheld projectors illuminating filmed recordings of Cohen’s song “Hallelujah” as we walk down St-Laurent.

We will walk (heading south) towards Parc du Portugal (corner of Marie-Anne) where we will have a community choir singalong of Hallelujah led by Kathy Kennedy (starting @ 18h30)

To participate in the procession please meet at the viaduc Van Horne, corner of St-Laurent + Rue De L'Arcade November 7 @ 18h. Or go directly to Parc-Du Portugal @ 18h30 for the singalong.

Hallelujah — Projection nomade + Chœur

Mardi le 7 novembre, 2017 à 18h.
Saint-Laurent / Plateau Mont-Royal
