More vinyl bootlegs:

The Zurich concert at Congresshalle on May 21, 1993, copied originally from the FM broadcast.
Same title as a 2CD release last year, probably with identical track listing.

According to my notes at www.leonardcohenfiles.com/bootleg3.html, this is already 11th bootleg of the same Zurich concert.

Label/Make: Parachute

Thanks to Dominique!

It’s a pity, because the recording is very clear, and in many ways it’s a much more satisfying listen than the official CD. It would have been so straightforward to get it right…
I completely agree - was listening to this a few days ago and immediately it struck me that Leonard's voice sounded thicker than normal. I would try to adjust it myself but it would be from a lossy source and anyway I wouldn't get it 100% right... hopefully the right pitch recording surfaces soon.

These 2 interviews were recorded backstage before the concert

so far, maybe the best bootleg version of this concert

and is the venue called Massey Hall not Exhibition Hall ?

Wellin, the consensus says it's Massey Hall.

I did some research about the two images above having a slightly varied set list and these links confirm it's the same product. The back cover here is the correct listing.

Yes, Geoffrey, I agree ;-)

Actually, it depends on whether or not one is going to wither or to where one may whither. But of course, for the song title, it should be "whither" (and thus it is not really a matter of agreeing or disagreeing, since there is an objectively correct whither, and an objectively incorrect wither in this particular case). Mind you, if it were "wither" in the song title, it would have quite interesting connotations! Can one witheringly whither? Why not?

Yes, Lisa, I agree ;-)

Whither thou goest, I will go ~ Whither Thou Goest

Whither thou goest I will go ~ Ballad of the Absent Mare

The almond trees wither ~ Did I Ever Love You

From a withered limb ~ By The Rivers Dark

and if she withered I would be to blame ~ The Traitor

It's always nice to be agreeable!

And, thanks for the list of Leonard's whithers/withers!

Another Wither was George Withers, a writer (poet/satirist/writer of hymns) from the late Renaissance/Shakespearean Era. Some of the hymns for which Wither wrote the words had music supplied by a very well known composer and organist called Orlando Gibbons, who wrote all sorts of keyboard and consort music as well as many madrigals. I can't say that I know of any of Wither's works, but I've heard some of Gibbons' music. Glenn Gould played some of Gibbon's music on piano. What does any of this have to do with Leonard Cohen? Well, we were were speaking of his "withers", he is a poet and writer, like Shakespeare and Withers, he is a writer of songs, like Withers and Gibbons, and he is Canadian, like Gould. See, it's all connected (isn't everything?).

I know, this thread is supposed about bootlegs from 3 or 4 years ago. I was bored with that. Cheers!

Don't forget:
withers[ with-erz ] noun (used with a plural verb)
The highest part of the back, at the base of the neck of a horse, cow, sheep, etc.

I don't recall that meaning getting a mention from Leonard.

it's pleasing to learn that my propensity to initiate a deviation from the chosen subject has been of some service to someone :-)
