Diane wrote:Hi again Scorp. Yes, I did also see Dublin (3 nights) and Benicassim. Each concert has it's own space in my memory. In Dublin we got a longer set of course, including Thousand Kisses Deep recitation and Webb sisters doing if It Be Your Will, both outstanding. I hope you get to experience those in November.

Listening to the tape of The Big Chill, I love the way that during the applause for So Long Marianne Leonard says, " Thanks so much friends, it is a great honour to play for you this evening," and someone from the audience shouts out, "it is a great honour to be here."

There's a really nice buzz in this forum since the concerts 8).
And in another vid LC says somethig like 'you're very kind' and someonec calls back 'you're very kind.' what no vid seems to have picked up is a woman behind me calling 'we love you', from time to time, which is a bit of a mystery. i was expecting her calls to be on my vids at least [scratches head in disbeliefe!]

so your 5 concerst were 3 in dubs, one in benicassim and then the chill. why not glasto? - couldn't get a ticket?

Won't you let me see your naked body?

Artist Spencer Tunick, who recently got a large crowd to strip at the Sydney Opera House, will be at the Big Chill festival this year - with the audience as his subject. Pity Leonard's not there this year - it would have added a bit of interest to the meet-up!

2 years today since I met Leonard, doesn't feel like that long a go. A moment I will never forget and treasure so much :)

Thank you!

So happy that we had the honour of being in that crowd. There will never be another Leonard Cohen.

Ah Diane, that would have been such a treat then to be there at the beginning of the tour of all tours!
Yes, there wasn't anyone like Leonard before and there certainly won't be anyone like him after!

Here’s three more videos for you to enjoy and reminisce about! You’ll have to turn your head to the left to get the right view for the first two :)
