Well, darn. I wish I'd checked the forum before leaving for Montreal. While you guys were chowing down on spaghetti, I was chowing down at Le Commensal with Anne Jayne, who had come all the way from Calgary (Jack and Dick, I'm sure you remember her from the newsgroup and the Montreal 2000 event), and with my sweetie, Anthony.

I figured there would be familiar faces at the concert and I did keep my eyes open, but it's a challenge to keep an eye on 3000 faces at once.

In any case, a belated bonjour to all of you!

Thanks Jack for hosting, and to everyone who joined us for dinner at his place. It was a joy to watch Jack in the kitchen. At one point I asked him, "Do you cook like this often?"
He said, "You mean throwing stuff into a pot, eh? Uhh, yeah!"

Agree Jack looked comfortable in the role of chef!

Sorry we missed ya Elizabeth, and would very much like to have seen Anne Jayne. My email is rstraub@att.net. Would love to hear from both of you.

Oh darn !! I wish you had checked the forum before leaving for Montreal.
There was stuff for those who do not eat animals. It lasted days. As a matter of fact there is still some if you are still here.

Hey Jack, is there any spaghetti left? I bet you ate it all, you glutton.
