Bird on a branch

Postby Rob on Fri Jun 08, 2007 8:27 pm

I had "Book of Longing" in work with me today and a colleague said he saw some symbolism in the drawing on the cover. The "three points of the bird", beak and feet make a triangle. the branch makes another, inverted triangle. Together they make the star of David. When he pointed this out, I could see what he meant.

Which proves the benefit of turning up for the job on a Friday.

Rob
I have two questions for you:
Does your friend wear glasses, if so was he wearing them?
Was this before or after your regular Friday afternoon lunch at the pub?
Sorry...that was three questions.

How do you know about my Friday lunches? Who's been talking about me?
Now you mention it, we had been using one hell of a lot of tipex.
