Poems from the translator

Post by Simon »

While he worked on the translation of Book of Longing into French, Michel Garneau, a poet himself, wrote a poem of his own for each poem translated from LC. So each original poem in French in this collection was directly inspired by a poem from BoL

Looking at them both, poetry seems to be a lot of fun...!

It's not bi-lingual? :)

Simon, is there's maybe a usual tradition in Quebec to translate the poetry as they did with BoL, so we can expect this book in English soon? Nevertheless, I'd like to have it, even in French, if you cna help, I'd be very gratefull :)
