Cheap flights

Post by jarkko »

I have booked our flights for the Berlin Event. Before the Event we will visit Poland (Warsaw and Cracow). If you book the flights early, the prices are REALLY favorable. Here is what we had to pay:

from Helsinki to Warsaw, 98 euros per person by Finnair
From Cracow to Berlin 36 euros !!!! per person by Easyjet
from Berlin to Helsinki 114 euros per person by Finnair
(These prices include ALL taxes and costs!)

The prices are especially cheap within mainland Europe plus UK. Make use of these special prices, register for The Event NOW and book your trip!!!

Both those airlines have great fares, but be very mindful of how much your luggage weighs... it will cost you much more than your flight, depending on how much over their weight limit it is. I found out the hard way. Just ask Henning - he had to lift my suitcase into the car in Frankfort. He remarked that he was happy he'd been working out with weights. I remember the man at Logan in Boston asking me if I had a dead body in there. So be careful.. their weight limit is quite low, and especially if you will be gone for a significant amount of time, as I was, it is almost impossible not to exceed.

I don't want to tell you how much it is going to cost me to get to this event! Flights in August are insanely, stupidly, ridiculously expensive. But, I will come anyway. Just not on a cheap flight!

I found a flight for a better price than I had earlier feared. It is nothing like the sweet deals that these european companies are offering, but I do have to cross the Atlantic! Other fellow Canadians may want to also look on travelocity.ca because that is where I got a reasonable price for my Lufthansa flight.

Cheap Flights

Post by evelyn »

I just booked a flight on Continental.

I checked out Travelocity but found a cheaper flight from the
Continental website - without stops - $1,057 incl taxes and fees.

I'm leaving from Newark Liberty 8/9.

If anyone is still planning their trip from New York - check out Continental.
