Hi Mat,

I appreciate your reply. Yes, Bukowski did make it through. Not willing to say that he was fully in a position to choose,
though. Trauma can skew the neurology enough to limit some choices and affect the ability to acquire and
utilize skills and resources connected with kinder (to self) life-affirming behaviors and attitudes. Am with you in trying to avoid darters or at least trying to stay out of range of their darts. In the linked interview, there is mention of
Bukowski having been listed in the phone book and answering his phone at 2 a.m. I remember that you and your
poet friend also placed a call to Bukowski. :D

I remember that you and your
poet friend also placed a call to Bukowski.

One of the Bukowski ex-friends-types I was talking about.
He kicked me out of his house/home a year or so ago and told me;
"get out!...and don't come back; ever!!!"

I am still not sure why he threw such a tantrum other than to say it was/is par for the course with him.
I have not returned, and won't.
He is a great poet...I mean exceptional and on song with the mystics...
but sadly to say I am now a "reject".

Thank God.

Mat.
