Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
Geoffrey your last few posts have certainly made several valid points. Would Adam, Lorca or Rufus (?) have any wish to come out with something concrete, maybe in the future perhaps but Robert Kory, the more I think about it can now not go over the heads of Leonard's family and say anything really. S...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
......As for Barcelona, I thought Leonard was still less than 100%. Vicomte thought he was on great form with no sign of anything amiss. That's great. Leonard would be pleased that he covered the cracks so well.[/b][/i] Wendy He wouldn't be happy with a misquote like that Wendy, this is what I actu...

I stacked a while ago and will wait for the pack to dealt again and perhaps I might see a better hand. I am confused at the moment as to what the hack is occurring

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
Hi Geoffrey. You could check public records, since deaths are recorded. That will at least establish the official cause of death, the time and place. You may have to check LA and Montreal since there seems to be some conflict as to just where he died. Unless someone here has such information and is...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
I agree with Geoffrey. Alan, yes what you found is of course factual but what I think both myself and Geoffrey would like to know is the circumstances behind the fall and what was done after the fall and by who. Who wants to find out a much later date the truth behind it all. That would only leave t...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
Thank you Geoffrey, that would be very appreciated by those of us somewhat mystified by his passing, or rather the moment it all came to pass. I read on here all about the grieving and the deep sadness and "how will I carry on etc" but to me, since the first time in 1967 I heard sisters of...

Re: unfinished
I have to say, Geoffrey you do very much appear to have mellowed well with the demise of Leonard. Your drawings are very good, one minute or or one week, the result is the matter of any works.

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."
In time like many that have died under unknown, or rather untold circumstances fully explained, we will no doubt in the future read rumours and stories from the journalists looking to sell their words to the hordes of Cohen fans. Geoffrey you have written many valid questions, some of which I suspec...

And to my mind those two shade it as the best backing singers that had ever toured with Leonard Cohen. Julie sure was blonde

Re: Leonard Has Passed Away
So glad my wife and I had the opportunity to talk with Leonard on a couple of occasions during the last tour, he simply proved what a gentleman he was. No long post, no cut and pasting his songs, just a rather big overall, Thank You.

Re: The Darker Album and the Songs
Athnuachan, I couldn't agree more, I see these way too long posts and I just give up the will to read them after a line. I said it sometime ago, Peter Townshend once said the words come out and often he hadn't got a clue what some lines meant. I'm sure he (LC) once said something along the lines of...

Re: The Darker Album and the Songs
I seem to be on my own here. For me the jury is still out on this album, I will listen at intervals to see if I like it more but as it stands, my own thoughts are that the songs on the new album don't come close to the great stuff Leonard Cohen has written and performed in the past. It's very differ...
