Re: Leonard Cohen "Dance Me" Ballet on PBS - 8 March KSPS
Hi Lisa It doesn't appear to be on PBS Channel 9 here unless you pay to subscribe to PBS Passport. I will do more research. I have wanted to see this for a few years. I did notice on you tube from 2018 there is a video one hour long so maybe that is how I will watch it. Thanks Hope you are well! Les...

Re: Kenneth Forsyth has passed away.
So sorry to hear this news about Ken! He was one of a kind and will be so missed by our community.
Still hard to believe such a witty, kind, clever, deep person has just gone from this world.
Thank you Ken for being you and bringing so many of us to so much laughter and now tears...

Re: 2021 JUNO Awards - Thanks For The Dance album nominated
I was watching the Juno Awards live on CBC yesterday.
Great 'Thanks for the Dance' was nominated.
We are so lucky for all of Leonard's work...so grateful.

The 'Kominsky Method' reference to Leonard & Lou Reed
On Netflix this week I saw the new season of 'The Kominsky Method'. Check out Season 3 Episode 4 at 10:40... Norman Jewison & Michael Douglas (who plays the main character) are having a drink to talk about a movie offer and Michael Douglas starts talking about Leonard & Lou Reed in the 60's....

Re: Félix et Meira
Imagine my surprise to be watching this film and halfway through to hear Leonard singing the entire Famous Blue Raincoat. Very touching....the film was made in 2015 and is filmed in Montreal, Brooklyn and Venice. One of the stars of the Netflix series Shistel (Libby) is the main character. I really ...

Re: 2021 Grammy Awards - Thanks For The Dance album nominated
I was hopeful for an award but being nominated is also very good. I love this album and its all good to me award or not.
Would have been nice though!
It is also up for a Canadian Juno award this year but there is stiff competition for the category.
Cheers!

Re: 'Treaty' played on TV in North America on 'Your Honor'
Just watched Sunday's episode of Your Honor and when it ended during the credits "In My secret Life" came on with Leonard and Sharon Robinson singing. Very appropriate song for this show. I love it to be surprised watching TV and to hear Leonard's voice. Wonderful! anyone else watching it?...

Re: Leonard Cohen, Untold Stories: The Early Years
I am in the middle of the book and wanted to share my thoughts. I am pleasantly surprised that I am liking it. It is a style of writing that took a bit of time to get used to for me. I read a few pages every night before going to sleep and look forward to it. I find some of it I pass over as it has ...

Re: Leonard Cohen, Untold Stories: The Early Years
I attended the zoom event from Banyen Books in Vancouver BC Canada (my hometown) on Sunday. It was a good interview but left me feeling unsettled. I have mixed feelings about the book. I will wait to mention them (if I even do) until after I have read the first volume. In all fairness I need to read...
