A temporary phenomenon I'm sure but Happens in the Heart more than deserves its moment in the limelight.

The only problem with serving us up this gem now is that if any of the lyrics from the tracks on You Want it Darker don't measure up to this baby (a tall ask surely) I'll be saying to myself if only Happens to the Heart was on there... Being a Dylan nut, I've been humming it to the melody of Mississippi - kind of reminds me of that track in ways I can't really explain. There's an emotional resonance to the fluidity of the language although hat's off Leonard, your writing here is even richer.

Lyrics that are served with majesty and land with emotional punch.

Thanks Leonard - this is quite the treat but it has such a lyrical flow that surely it deserves to be put to music and sung on your next album... or in the alternative recited live A Thousand Kisses Deep style!

glad to hear- really pumped for this album. Truth is I trust seasoned fans initial impressions over mainstream publications all day long so to hear the die hards gush as enthusiastically as they have has really whetted the appetite.
