Hi Irene.... Back to this topic, I almost came back in last night to say, "Hi Shorty," suspecting the same self-loathing that you do, with one's own shortcomings often projected onto others and not always in the same, literal arenas. However, I feel overall that what keeps it going is more...

Hi Irene..... I logged in initially and once I was at the Index page regarding the various sections, I put that page in my Favorites. Then, each time, I just go to my Favorites, click on it, and I'm there. Then, when I leave, I "X" out at the top and that's it. Try that and see what happen...

I have a VCR, yet I sure haven't come across any jewels like that on him in any of the used bookstores where I've been looking. Good for you, Linda.

I like [love] the idea of going to Ireland, too, Peter; however, as a trip unto itself. My question [and not to interfere with your saving of plane fare, Georges  , however....] is, shouldn't the locale at least in some way be related to Leonard? New York and the Chelsea area; Hydra; Montreal; ...

Hi Andrew Thanks for your encouragement in the way of poetry. I'm trying to formulate what it is that poetry does and is, that prose doesn't and isn't. It seems that poetry is often what's left unsaid, what's obliquely referred to, the implications, etc. My writing tends to be to express as well as ...

I'm not alarmed, Andrew.....and [trust me on this], I know these things happen on message boards. I've both witnessed and experienced it. However, I remain in control of my own choices in that regard, and in respect of your poem, his statue, and all that they represent.....I choose to make a citizen...

Dear PC,

I've returned this morning to add this. No matter your response, I'm disengaging. This thread was to share a magnificent, a beautiful, a poignant poem. I don't feel comfortable hijacking it for menial amusements [my own included].

"The wind, the wind is blowing....." I've always loved those lines.

The shadows hold me in their grasp....were I only able to come out of them.

Dear Pete.... I won't poeticize my response ~ however , do want you to know that you received honourable mention [as well as a bit of discussion....you used to live near Lizzie?] last night, when I again showed up for viewing-only purposes. Tim conveyed my regrets, via quoting my Post to you [and na...

Dear Zhur.....Any chance you'll translate it into English to place anywhere? The same request was made of Jarkko regarding the article in the Finnish newspaper [albeit a relatively short article, yours may be longer]. He'll be doing it in due time, no rush...likewise with you, that'd be great. ~ Liz...
