Re: Omega by Enrique Morente

The people who are able to be in Benicàssim on that day are amazingly lucky. I would love to see an Enrique Morente concert. I would especially love to hear one where he played the songs from Omega. But to hear Leonard Cohen on the same day, that sounds like bliss. As I said, some people are lucky.

Re: Petition No10 for Honorary Knighthood for Leonard Cohen

Leonard Cohen has already received the highest civil honour in the country of his birth. The Companion of The Order of Canada is a gigantic accomplishment. The award has three levels, he won it at the highest possible level. It recognizes "a lifetime of outstanding achievement and merit of the highe...

Re: Leonard Cohen. Artist of Influence - new biography

This is a print on demand book, published by filiqurian publishing. You can order it on Abebooks for a cheaper price than you can find on amazon, and I suspect that the lower price is probably worth it. That is just a guess, I have not read or seen the book, but if you look at the author on amazon, ...

Re: LEONARD'S TOUR BAND

Great news about Sharon Robinson joining the tour. I think she is fantastic. I look forward to hearing the Webb Sisters sing his work.

It is too bad that Christine Wu won't be joining them, but I think they now have a pretty amazing band for the tour.

Re: Muffins or War

I believe that Prince Harry was in as much personal risk as he would be when he attends Ascot, and he should be accorded exactly the same level of respect as you would give him there. He was on a PR mission in Afghanistan. I hope shitting in the outdoors was the only verisimilitude they gave him, an...

Re: The Hour, Yung Chang and Leonard Cohen

A friend of mine saw the Canadian premiere of 'Up the Yangtze' because his wife is very big in an environmental organization that is sponsoring and promoting the film. He said it was an amazing movie, really great.

The story about the meeting with Leonard is really cool, too!

Dar, the post by Lion of Lions is total BS. It does not make any sense at all. Warshall's transitive closure algorithm has to do with graphs. The end aim the lion of lion wants is Philoprogenitiveness - The love of offspring; fondness for children. (Also, this poster won't believe it until LC and hi...
