Re: "Book of Mercy" in Hebrew - translated by Doron

Congratulations, Doron! Quite an accomplishment indeed. From the original idea springning in your mind to the hard paper copy in your hands it surely took hard work and perseverance. Thanks for bringning this into being. I recall the BoM threads as a captivating and fun adventure into the hermeneuti...

Re: The Book of Mercy Discussion - Look back in pleasure

Thank you Doron for inventing this collective litarary space to dive in with our minds, our hearts and sometimes our guts. This adventure has made Book of Mercy a very unique and special book for me, a piece of work unlike any other. That is largely due to everyone’s contribution and insight and to ...

Re: Book of Mercy #46-

Hi everyone. Thank you for the summons. Even though the impermacence of all things keeps me busy elsewhere, I miss this community. I have not been here in a long time, but I’m touched by the fact that you kept at it for 3 years now. Surely BoM is a piece of work that deserve this kind of faithful at...

Re: Muxtapes

My tape has gone rather jazz vocal all of the sudden. I have those streaks... Tonight is one of those nights. Its really great to listen to your tapes. Feels like walking into your living room. Joe, If I where to ride the car with Diane, I'd take her up the Alaska Highway to dig some gold in a Yukon...

Re: Muxtape

Truly beautiful mux Dharma. Wonderful organic cohesion. I’ll suscribe to your tapes anytime.

Interseting to see Bruce Cockburn in there. I too have come back to him recently, after having kept him collecting dust on the shelf for a long time.

Thanks

Poems from the translator

While he worked on the translation of Book of Longing into French, Michel Garneau, a poet himself, wrote a poem of his own for each poem translated from LC. So each original poem in French in this collection was directly inspired by a poem from BoL http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/sylvainbelisle...

Living with teenagers has greatly expended my musical taste.

Jarkko could maybe tell us more about them since they are from Findland.

Re: Password for Montreal pre-booking-it opens at 9!

9h15 and can't make it work. Maybe the server is overloaded already. Phone line always busy.

Maybe I'll go in person at lunch If it doesn't work online. I work close by the PDA.

Should the code ...VBwZbZ3/Sa be pasted in the address line to get access?

I've had every intention of rejoining the conversation but a number of matters have preoccupied my time recently Joe Same with me here. I'm hoping to find some time next month. You guys have been quite productive and I haven't even had time to read the contributions of the last months. I don't feel...

Here is a scan of the back cover. The bar code number is for the product and is not unique to this copy. I didn't put my copy for sale on E-Bay but the bar code on mine is identical as the one on sale. I don't remember if bar codes were in use in 1971 when the original came out? I would asume there ...
