Sad day. He was instrumental in the delivery of so many careers. Not only Bob's and Leonard's.

Re: Bob Dylan at The Royal Albert Hall, Oct 2015

All three nights at RAH sold out within an hour on Friday. 'Choir' seats now on sale, which are fine if you want to see the back of the band, and don't mind having no mix to the music. On the plus side - if it's Bob you want to see - choose the East choir and you'll eyeball him all night long whilst...

Re: Depression

Good article John, full of the usual suspects. Goes with the territory, sadly.

One obvious ommission - in my opinion. Dali. A Genius, but manic depressive at the same time.

I've just bought this. Didn't pay anything like £110. For a Dylan sycophantic like me it is wonderful stuff.

Re: Popular Problems - Album Reviews

I'm going to get 'pelters' for this on here but I don't like the production at all. It's lazy. The poetry and words are all Leonard's. But the rest? Amateurish. You Got Me Singing is the best track on the album. Why doesn't Leonard get his 'touring band' into the studio with him? All of these songs/...

Thanks for this Barry - I'll need to get a print copy as well. The rumoured Floyd album intrigues me.

Re: Listen to "Almost Like The Blues"

I'm loving this song. The mood is loungy and dark and his delivery is intense. A lot of people compare Leonard with Tom Waits because they're both old and have gravely voices; stylistically they really don't sound like each other. This song, however, has a strong Tom Waits-y vibe and I think it's g...

Re: Listen to "Almost Like The Blues"

I dont really understand why some of the fine muscians from the tours is no invited. Peter Surely it's a question of practicalities as much as anything else. The members of the band are scattered all over the world, with their own diary and life commitments and it would be almost like organising a ...
