Re: London Concert- looking for accommodation advice

Hi Franjel I found the Travellodge London Central Southwark for the June concert - it is reasonably priced and is 5 stops away on the Jubilee line from North Greenwich and also well placed for access to central London. The hotel is also quite close to Southwark tube. Best Bartleby Hi Bartleby, Than...

Re: London Concert- looking for accommodation advice

Hello Franjel, I'm going in June and I am staying at the St Giles in Central London http://centrallondon.stgiles.com/default.aspx?pg=hotel . I have stayed there before and it's fine. It will be a tube / DLR journey to get to the O2 but it shouldn't be a problem. The Hotel is very convenient for oth...

London Concert- looking for accommodation advice

Just wondering if I could get some advice from Leonard's London fans. Having booked to go to the September London concert on a mad impulse, I then had to sell the idea of a weekend in London to my husband & 14 year old daughter ( to assuage my guilt at skiving off yet again for another Concert :...

Re: PRESALE TO THE UK SHOWS

Thanks Jarkko & AEG, that was such an easy process, and the 10 minutes heads up was really useful so I could make a decision, though still an impulsive decision to go to the London Concert. Okay so a few months of bringing my lunch to work everyday, absolutely no treats or any other spending sho...

Re: PRESALE LINK FOR DUBLIN

Thanks Jarkko for the updates this morning about the delay with the Thursday tickets. It helped to know that it wasn't just me and my computer! I was frantically trying to get tickets as I had to leave for work after 10 am. so I just got in before I left. No luck for me with flat seating for either ...

Re: A CELTIC BLESSING TO LC & UHTC AS THEY LAND ON IRISH SOI

Hi folks
Thanks for your replies. Didn't get a chance to reply earlier.
And what a miracle. It didn't rain during the concerts, well at least the ones I was at on Tues, Wed & Sat.
And what a blessing those concerts were... :D

A CELTIC BLESSING TO LC & UHTC AS THEY LAND ON IRISH SOIL

Dear friends I thought I would send this little blessing to Leonard & The UHTC as they enter Irish airspace sometime today or tomorrow. AND for us fans as we brave the unsettled elements. "May the sun shine soft on your lovely bones, May Eireann's air breathe warm on your deep dulcet tones....

Re: GHENT meetups

I'm coming from Ireland to the Ghent Concert on Sunday August 11th. Does anyone know of a good B&B to stay in? Also are there places where Cohen fans meet? I'm new to all this - I consider myself a 'Born again' Cohen groupie as I went to my first concert in Lissadell Ireland in 2010 & was bo...
