There was a video, I think it was called "I'm Your Man" which was mostly poorly done cover versions of his songs, but he is interviewed as well, and he mentions this. I don't own the video so I can't transcribe it for you here, but the impression I got was that he was hiding from the mafia...

Leonard said he went up to Mount Baldi (sp?) because he was hiding from someone. Apparently he got himself into some kind of trouble or something. Does anyone know the background on this? I'm really curious.

I voted Tom Waits, which would be great to see, but I'd actually like to see Leonard do something with Trent Reznor.

Thank you all for the information. And thanks to those who emailed songs. The version I was looking for, which I did receive, was spoken word, with no music background at all, and the same words as the Tacoma Trailer version. I had no idea there were that many versions out there. I love Leonard!

Somewhere I heard a spoken word version of Thousand Kisses Deep. Does anyone know what album it's on? I haven't been able to find it.
