Re: The Bench

Now that splendid piece of work Lisa would be a rather good reason for the delay. And it has great seating around its base. This "bench" as it is called, is not, or is it? Was it where it is on the Island, or just part of Greek mythology about planning?

The Bench

Rather than put this post with the other thread on the bench I felt my post should not be in there. I may be alone and I don't post this with anything more than what I feel. When I first saw the "bench" I honestly thought someone was having a joke. A layer of stone on the floor and stone built up ar...

Re: Can anyone recommend a dealer for a signed LC photo?

Yes true really Wendy. She would never have wanted a photo or anything with a signature that wasn't meant for her personally. Jarkko, I noticed just a slight difference between Leonard's signature in 2008/2009 and one near the end of the overall "tour" 2012 and it was at the very start with the "Leo...

Re: Can anyone recommend a dealer for a signed LC photo?

Two sides to this though. If anyone really does want Leonard's signature then how else will they get one? I imagine it would be hard to get one apart from ebay or....? Twice we had been in the same hotel as Leonard and the band, even having breakfast near them. We met Roscoe and Leonard opposite our...

Can you post a photo on here? Personally which of course does not mean he doesn't but I have never seen Leonard Cohen sign "Lenny" I would imagine Jarkko for one will know for sure

Re: What is Your Best Leonard Cohen Song?

This type of question has been asked a thousand times. The reality is that most people will give you 5 of their choices or more, just one, well can there be just one favourite?

Re: Leonard Has Passed Away

I have dreamt about you this night. And I woke up this morning full of joy. Happy of this moment spent by your side, joyful to have been able to benefit from a little more. I knew, in my dream, that your disappearance was near and I was well aware of the chance to live this conversation with you. So...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."

Geoffrey your last few posts have certainly made several valid points. Would Adam, Lorca or Rufus (?) have any wish to come out with something concrete, maybe in the future perhaps but Robert Kory, the more I think about it can now not go over the heads of Leonard's family and say anything really. S...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."

......As for Barcelona, I thought Leonard was still less than 100%. Vicomte thought he was on great form with no sign of anything amiss. That's great. Leonard would be pleased that he covered the cracks so well.[/b][/i] Wendy He wouldn't be happy with a misquote like that Wendy, this is what I actu...

Re: "come forth from the cloud of unknowing . . ."

Hi Geoffrey. You could check public records, since deaths are recorded. That will at least establish the official cause of death, the time and place. You may have to check LA and Montreal since there seems to be some conflict as to just where he died. Unless someone here has such information and is...
