Re: Adam Cohen touring Australia

I think a statement would be nice. There’s nothing on his Facebook page, just updated on the Euro shows as normal. All I have is an email from the ticket vendor, not even the venue and not the artist. These things happen for whatever reason but acknowledging it is better than just slinking away and ...

Re: Adam Cohen touring Australia

The whole tour, alas. :( Email from Moshtix is vague on reasons: "due to commitments in Canada."

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Sydney, Australia - November 16, 2013

I was lucky enough to snag front row centre for this show but I have no lengthy report to give - you all know everything there is to say about Leonard. I had tears a few times - as I have had all week thinking how close the concert was. Here are some snaps that I put on Instagram. http://www.flopear...

Re: The Sydney concert Nov 17 re-scheduled to Dec 2

The front row of the Opera House concert hall is certainly close to the stage. When I saw Randy Newman there a couple of years ago I was in the front row and when he was at the piano could only see his feet and top of his head because the Steinway took up my whole view! I generally dislike the room ...

Frontier Touring (the promoters) just tweeted that new seats have been released for the Perth show if anyone was after them.

Re: CONCERT REPORT: Sydney, Australia, Nov. 8-9, 2010

Thanks for everyone's reports and setlists. I can't really judge the overall atmosphere, sitting as I was way up the back but everyone around us even that far away was completely engaged for the whole time. In 2008 I was up the front at Sydney and Bowral gigs so naturally this one up the back had a ...

Re: Sandalford Concert Review (Sat 7th February 2009)

Beautifully done, Greg. I've been happy to read of how many other people couldn't keep from crying -- glad I wasn't the only one! From memory they had the same alochol restriction at Bowral? We were up the front and didn't dare move lest we missed something so we didn't go get any grog but I think I...

Re: Centennial Vineyards Bowral, Feb 1

Irene, I enjoyed your blog. And thank you for commenting on my blog the other day, after the Sydney gig. Its been a bit hectic the last few days so I haven't replied to people there yet. Judging from your MySpace video you were just off to the left of me. I have put my Bowral rave here (I dont like ...

Re: Setlists for all Pacific concerts

I have been trying to work that out too, Wink. He definitely did Sisters of Mercy and Hey and Democracy and Closing Time. I wasn't taking notes but I really think all the other songs were played. I can't work out what was dropped, if anything.
